Coupons.com: J&J Rebate

Rebates require a little effort, but often are worth the effort.  A friend told me just yesterday that she had earned over $400 this year alone by mailing in rebates.  She didn't make special purchases, just bought what she normal does (with coupons!) and found rebates. She's even shared a receipt or two with me.  Thanks, Kim!

A little tip, keep your receipts in an accordion file/envelope for later reference.  When you find a rebate, you can look through your receipts to find if you have bought the item(s) needed for the rebate.  There are always beer rebates out there.  Sometimes they don't even require that you buy beer. The key is to submit the rebate as soon as you find it and fulfill the requirements.  Don't put it off, there are end dates!  I keep blank envelopes in my coupon binder and stamps in my wallet to make the process easy.

On to a more specific rebate opportunity, as I was perusing coupons.com this morning.  I came across a rebate for $10 when you buy $30 worth of J&J beauty products. This includes Aveeno, Clean & Clear, Lubriderm, Purpose, and Roc. To submit the rebate, you need the original store receipt dated between 09/20/2010 - 10/31/2010 with items and purchase prices circled.  You also will need to write the UPC codes on the rebate form.  I will be looking for sales matchups for this one.  I'll keep you posted on what I find.  Don't forget to print out the Aveeno, Clean & Care, Lubriderm, Purpose, and Roc coupons from coupons.com  while you are printing out your rebate form.

Back to the general topic of rebates, I have an extra Miller Lite booklet that I will give away to a reader who leaves a comment on this post.  Included in the booklet are a rebate for $10 rebate on the purchase of $30 of tailgating essentials (water, paper products, chips, etc.), a $ off coupon for Doritos, and $1/2 coupon for Cheez-its.  Just comment on this blog post by Friday, October 1 at 11:59pm and you will be entered for a chance to win.  In your comment, include your some coupons from your wish list. I will choose a winner at random and mail them the rebate and hopefully some coupons from their wishlist.

  5. I am a slacker when it comes to rebates. I feel like they are so much work...but seeing how much you can get back. I might rethink it. Do you usually have to send in a proof of purchase from the product along with the receipt?

I can always use Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones, Lactaid Milk, Kids stuff like Mac N Cheese, Chef Boyardee..

I have a ton of coupons too and would be happy to share!

  6. @Judy the beer rebates just require copies of the receipts with the purchase price circled. The J&J rebate needs the receipt and then the UPC codes listed on the rebate form.
