30 Days and a Little Giveaway

I started Save It one month ago today.  I've enjoyed the extra motivation to keep up with sales and coupon matches and share with others.  I've been sharing the deals in less formal ways for quite a long time.  After lots of positive feedback, I decided to share on a broader scale.  It has always been exciting to me to help someone catch on to ways they can save.  I like to hear when someone learns to strategically shop for their families and average 40% or more savings on their groceries, drugstore items, and more.  I'd love for more people to learn how to Save It.

So, I thought I'd do a little giveaway.  I've put together a gift set of goodies from my stockpile: razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and a couple other health and beauty items (approximate retail value $35). To keep with the theme of health and beauty, I'll also include a white, custom monogrammed hand towel (not pictured, retail value $18) from my online boutique Polkatots and Whatnots.  The winners will choose the color and monogram for the towel.  I'd also like to include some favorite coupons for the winners, too. Please excuse my phone camera picture, my dear Nikon is off being repaired.  There are two ways to win:

1) To enter to win a gift set, comment on this post listing your favorite coupons and who referred you to Save It by Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 11:59pm EST. A winner will be chosen at random and notified on Monday, May 31, 2010.  The winner will have until 11:59pm EST Wednesday, June 2, 2010 to respond with their mailing address where the gift set should be delivered.  If there is no response by that time, I will choose another winner at random. Only one entry per person, please.  Duplicate entries will be disregarded. Comments on Facebook are not considered valid entries.  Feel free to share on Facebook and comment there as well, but the winner will be selected directly from the comments made on this Save It post.

2) I've put together another gift set to giveaway for those of you who spread the word about Save It.  When you refer your friends and family to Save It and they comment on this post on the Save It blog, tell them to include you as their referral (just name or ID that you use to comment on blog posts, not your email) on their comment along with their favorite coupons.  I'll randomly choose a referrer to win the second gift set.  You get 1 entry for each distinct referral.  The more you refer, the more chances you have to win. I'll also send along some coupons to the person whose comment provided the referral entry winner.  Clear as mud? Again, all entries must be submitted by Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 11:59pm EST.
